NV-PIC requires that applicants are in good-standing and currently enrolled in a psychology doctoral program and have completed the following by the application deadline:
NV-PIC also invites applicants who have some experience or special interest in working with underserved or diverse populations. In addition to the requirements noted above, NV-PIC takes into consideration the potential commitment or interest of any prospective intern to remain in Nevada following internship. Developing a strong behavioral health workforce is an important consideration for the state, and an interest in remaining in Nevada to join the workforce is considered a benefit in a potential intern.
